For The Love Of Needlepoint!
Needlepoint is one of those relaxing hobbies that always seems to give more than it received. I love it! I love how the colors blend together and how it takes on a life of it’s own and how I somehow get to partake in the beauty that comes from it. I love how if you pick the right project, that you can in fact become challenged and your newest project can become 3-D. Not only that, but if you select the right piece of art, you can in fact have some of the greatest artists of all time in your home for a fraction of the price.
Have you ever desired to have a Picasso? Guess what? You can and not for that insane price that you would have to get it for.
Okay so maybe Picasso isn’t your thing. What about Vincent Van Gogh?
Starry Starry Night
Van Gogh has something about his work, that is truly original and unlike anyone else!
Schadel
When was the last time you saw Schadel by Van Gogh and considered it as part of your art collection? You probably haven’t, but with all the the Day of the Dead materials and the fade of wearing skulls, it may be something that you would consider now.
Vase Of Roses
This vase of roses are truly ones that will give forever. They are not only perfect for spring, but also for those that have a black thumb. You and they will never have to worry about them being over watered, under watered or in some other way killed.
Marilyn!
I’m not a big fan of Marilyn, but there’s something about this needlepoint that always attracts me to it. I’m not sure if it’s the lighting that they have or perhaps the classic look on her face, but no matter how many times I see it, I’m drawn to it, and like with the roses, I don’t ever have to worry about her dying off on me. She will always be just where I finished her at and her beauty will never end.
Hopefully, you have the beginning of the love for needlepoint that I do. Everyone is different, just as everyone’s taste are different. If you’ve never tried needlepoint, feel free to try something of a smaller size and you may just find out your new hobby is one that will last a lifetime and like the adult coloring books, you too can start a project that will allow you time to relax and benefit from it all at once.
The Fun Of Spring!
Spring is arguably the most enjoyable of all seasons. It is after all, the end of one and the beginning of another. The end of the dog days of winter where frostbit abounds and the beginning of another where the ice is breaking and there are plenty of new babies to be found. The babies can be anything from horses, dogs, cats and even insects (my least favorite aspect of Spring).
Spring Fun Number 1
It’s time to go outside and have a blast! This is when you clean off your bicycle from all of the winter dust, make sure the chains are oiled and head for that long awaited ride. But remember, when you go on that ride, you’ll probably be sore afterwards. Why? Because most people have dropped their exercise to just about nothing by the time spring starts rolling around. Don’t forget, it doesn’t have to be a bicycle. Walking, running, sports and all that comes with that.
Spring Cleaning
Spring cleaning is everything from what was of winter, to what will be of spring. Yes, it may be a little bit early, but if you’re like most people this change takes more than a day or two. It’s not just about making sure everything is clean and shiny, but about putting the things of winter away (after a good cleaning) and bringing out the things of spring. I love spring (okay I love most seasons). I love all the flowers that bloom and the baby’s that are born. But one of my all time favorite things is to make things that brighten my house and my families lives. This occurs with making things and making spring come to life in our home. Consider some of the following designs that you can do to make your home full of joy.
Plan now and you wont regret it later! It’s the lack of planning that makes you have the challenges that tend to come your way. So while the end of January is upon us, it’s not to early to begin preparing for spring. It’s only a month away.
Travel Time!
The new year is now well underway and what that means is people are starting to plan their vacations. If you plan your vacation ‘right’, then you will have a blast and be refreshed when you come back. If you don’t, there’s the very real possibility that you will pay for it. The point of this Every.rock is to give you some ideas of what you can do to prepare for your family vacation. Not everything that’s mention will be needed, but it’s a list of things for you to consider and when needed apply them.
First up Travel:
Most people when they go on vacation, they travel. This means that they have to plan for any number of things, but in this case, I’m looking at those that are going to go out of the country. If you’re staying within your home country, seeing the doctor won’t be a priority, if on the other hand, you’re going to another country, you’re going to need to visit the doctor. There are almost always shots that need to be received in order for you to protect your body from the disease that aren’t common to your home country. If you’re going out of the country, plan your trip and vaccinations well in advance. Boca Regional Urgent Care is one facility that will help you take care of this issue quick. Remember to visit your doctor on your return as well. There are test that can be ran to make sure that you’re as healthy when you return, as when you left.
Where Are You Going?
Where are you going is another question that you’re going to need to answer. Your budget will play a big part in this question. If you have 20,000 dollars to spend per person, then you can literally travel around the world in style. But if you don’t, then a trip to the beach may be your selection Not that there’s anything wrong with that, but it is a must consideration when looking at where you are going to vacation at.
Safe With Your Money!
When you travel, being safe with your money is a huge thing. Things like putting money in different forms, such as cards, traveler’s check and country currency are just some of the ways that you can make sure that if you’re money is lost or stolen in one place, you have more stashed in another.
Luggage!
Planning how much luggage you’re going to need is the same as planning how many types of clothes you’re going to needed. Never over pack, it adds to the chaos of the trip. For example, if you’re going on a weekend trip, one bag is usually enough. But, if you’re going to go on a cruise that last for a month, you’re going to need to plan for 30 days of clothing and any fine dining that you’re going to do on the ship.

Final Thoughts
If you opt to go out of the country, you will want to make sure that you go and see your doctor when you come back. It’s something that can save your life. All of the Survivor shows have shown the importance of this. How many of them when they got home found out they had something wrong with them, that wasn’t there when they left? Many of them, so don’t take a risk. Even if it’s going to an urgent care to be evaluated, it’s worth the trip.
