There are certain things that we never seem to really notice until we need them, or it’s happening to us. For example, if you see a new born baby, you never think much about it. Until you’re in the beginning of labor pains. The same is true for a broken bone or college exams. Those things are there and we know it, but we just simply don’t give them much thought. The same is true for the parent that expect that their child is on drugs or the police officer that pulls you over and does a sobriety test. Often when a child’s behavior changes a parent won’t think much about it at the beginning. But if negative behavior continues the parents concerns almost without exception will turn into action. Sometimes that action means bring in the law, doing an intervention and still other times it means getting a drug screening. The most common place for a parent to have this done is a doctors office, be it their family doctor or an urgent care.

In this day and age, if you’re going for a job, you’re more than likely going to have a drug screening. Company’s want to limit the possibility of loss and injury by making sure their employees aren’t going to steal from them or get injured. Part of these precautions include making sure your future employees aren’t doing drugs. This is something that’s usually outsourced to a given company be it a doctors office or 3rd party.

Like with employment, part of the responsibility of someone driving is to not be impaired. This can be with alcohol, oral drugs, or inhalants. If substances are used legal or illegal and you drive, it’s possible that the amount of damage you do behind the wheel will alter lives forever. That’s why there’s check points and on the spot drug screening that the police can use at will. If found intoxicated by any substance, it will result in arrest. A small cost considering the damage that can occur if the intoxicated person isn’t arrested.

Summer Vacations:
Summer is the time for vacations. It’s when schools are out and people stop and take a break to recharge their batteries. It’s the time when family’s take time to reconnect and enjoy each other. It’s also a time when memories are made and you can experience things that you wouldn’t otherwise experience.
