Life is such a challenge. It’s is filled with all kinds of obstacles and challenges as well as joy and happiness. Everything from a wedding, to the birth of a child, to the loss of a loved one bring about change. Obviously those that are pleasant are met with arms wide open, but those that are consider unpleasant like death are not as well received. Whether a good life event or a bad one, they all have one major thing in common: STRESS! Ask anyone that’s gotten married if planning the wedding and the day of the wedding are stressful and you will get a resounding YES. Ask a woman in labor if it’s stressful and the answer will be YES. Lastly, ask someone who’s loved one has passed away if it’s a stressful time and you’ll probably be asked to leave or be picking yourself up off the ground. Because it is a very stressful time.
Planning
It is an interesting thing planning. If you ask someone to get married, in most cases plans for the ‘Big Day’ will be made for months if not years in advance. For the simple reason that you want your wedding day to be as perfect as it possibly can. You want things to run smoothly. If you’re the bride, you want your wedding dress to be as perfect and can be and you want to make your groom proud that you are going to be his in just a few minutes.
The same attention to detail is never given to the day of one’s departure. Why? Well that can be debated, but there’s no doubt that a good portion of the reason is because we never want to think about it ahead of time. It’s something that will happen somewhere down the road, and it’s an unpleasant thought at best. We don’t want to make wills out, plan for estate sales, trust or probate. Death is just unpleasant!

Alleviating Stress
One of the reasons that weddings are less stressful than funerals is because they are planned well ahead of time. If you were to try and make all of the arraignments the day of your wedding, well it just wouldn’t happen. Why? Because there’s just to much to do. The same is true for funerals. There are all kinds of arraignments that need to be done from notifications of family and friends to where the funeral is going to be held at. If by some chance you’re a surviving family member and a house needs to go into probate, the stress is even more intents. Consider that you don’t have to wait for the death to handle a large chunk of what needs to be done.
Probate, Wills And Trusts!
Probates, wills and trusts are several things that you can get done well before they are needed. Also hiring a lawyer to make sure these things are executed well before they’re needed. When you do just these few things, then much of the work is done as well as much of the stress that you have will be alleviated. You can also have all of your funeral arraignments made and paid for ahead of time. There by having one more stress removed for your family. It’s not easy, death and passing never are. But why not do what you can do before it has to be done or you have to do it?
