When you start a company, the last thing most people think about is how to market your product. Yet marketing is one of the most important keys to success in making of your business something that goes viral and everyone wants to have something to do with. We see examples of this with companies such as Facebook, Google, and Microsoft. There are approximately five factors that need to be evaluated your company’s product in the area of intelligent marketing.

First of all,you have to make sure that you are targeting the correct customer segment(s). This means that you have to have research done to see who your prime customers are going to be. It’s only then that you’re going to be able to stand a chance of having marketing done effectively. This, in turn, will allow for you to chose the correct market(s) for your business.

Sales is the next part of intellectual marketing. I’ve seen it over and over again where the company believes that sales will walk through the door as soon as they hang up their sign, and for the most, part it doesn’t happen this way. There needs to be a funnel of prospective clients. Why? Because there are different types and styles of customers that will be looking to buy your product. Some aren’t going to be able to buy the product right away because they need their bosses approval. Others will not be sure if they want to spend their resources on what you have to offer, and others will feel that it’s not a good fit. It’s few and far in between when the customer will actually sign on the dotted line at the initial contact. It is, in fact, a journey from beginning to the signing and then the satisfaction of the customer.

Part of inteligent marketing means that you’re going to need to bridge their needs with your ability to fulfill the perspective customer.s needs. This used to be called “a sense of urgency” within the customer. This has to be done very delicately in this day and age because people don’t like to be sold. It takes a skillful hand to show a customer how what they need is met by what you do, without them filling like you’re trying to sell them a bill of goods!

This also brings into play the need for the right rational needs of the client. If their needs aren’t possible or correct, you’re going to need to be able to show them how their thinking is in error and why it’s not going to work. This may cost you clients in the beginning, but if you’re not able to follow through and give them what you promised your reputation is on the line and it can need to be managed, if you don’t let your future customers know what’s realistic and what’s not.

Lastly, intelligent marketing means that you’re going to need to have an understanding about your competition and how you’re going to offer something that they aren’t able to do and how you’re going to fill that gap in the marketplace.

Dental Work

When you’re a child, your parents take you to the dental office and you go and get your 6 month’s check up and cleaning. It’s not necessarily fun or your favorite thing to do, but you have to because your parents take you. Revenge or so it seems is when you become an adult and you do your own teeth or should I say you stop your visits all together until your pain get’s to be enough and then you start asking around and looking for a dentist. You know that your mouth is bad and it’s not going to be a lot of fun.

Winter Challenges

Yes, winter is full of challenges and hurtles. Part of the challenges that arise as winter sets in is the cold. The cold is something that people fail to consider or thing about before hand. Now is the time that you should be getting winter kits for your car including blankets so that if you should break down, you will have at least some warmth until help arrives. This includes having food that you can eat (like candy bars) and a thermos with liquid. Unless you are going to put hot coffee in it every day, then any liquid will do.

Also, now is the time to locate your local urgent cares. While this may sound silly, consider that if you break down or get injured an urgent care is a good place to go if a blizzard is coming. They can open their doors and keep them open so that you can get to a safe place, even if you can’t get home or to a hospital. Urgent cares are far more frequent in location than are hospitals. But like hospitals, if you have an urgent care and don’t know where it’s at, it doesn’t matter if there’s one or not. So now is the time for you to locate those along the roads that you most travel!

Most people consider what they’re going to do for holidays and what they’re going to buy. The reasons for this is obvious; most people are focused on the holidays. Is Your Site Responsive?

It may sound like a silly question in this day and age of computer wizardry, but it’s more than a legitimate question. Is the site that your customers land on a responsive one? It’s an important question to ask because we’ve all landed on sites that we have to move and shape our electronic devise around in order to see what’s on the webpage! If this sounds like what you put your customers through, then you have an unresponsive site and you need to get it upgraded!

The Problem!

The problem with unresponsive sites is multiple. First, it inconveniences those that you are looking to communicate with. It tells them that they aren’t worth the time or money to get your product to them quickly and swiftly. This is the same problem that many have with the loading time of their website. Did you know that certain designs for websites will cause them to load slower? If you’re computers loading slowly, then you’re losing customers, because they wait a couple of seconds and again are off to the next site that will load quickly. Winter Wonderland!

Tis The Season

The holidays are just around the corner and for most they are a time of rejoicing, making memories that will last a lifetime and reconnecting with dear and beloved friends. But for many this time of rejoicing is a time of pain and sorry. Not everybody enjoys the holidays and this can be for any number of reasons. Most common of those reasons is grief.

Grief can develop from any number of events and ranges in severity for all those that share in it. If you’ve lost a child and it’s your first holiday, those joyful times are not so joyful. You come face to face with the fact that you are no longer going to be buying presents for that child. Making the loss of a child one of the most difficult of all losses to bare. When you lose a child, it’s not just about not celebrating Christmas and buying them gifts and seeing the joy on their little faces (regardless of age), it’s also about the process the loss of all the events that you are no longer going to be able to partake with them.
